The spacious (ca.
260 m2) air-conditioned Library is equipped with a wide range
of recommended texts and references pertaining to the taught courses for
both Matriculation and Degree Programmes. Students also have access to
the online medical databases such as Ovid Database, which contains 3
electronic Databases and 10 full text e-journals. Other resource
materials include audio-visual equipment, computer-assisted learning
(CAL) courseware and productivity tools, magazines and periodicals.
Routine Library services include photocopying, binding services,
inter-library loans, and reference services along with information on
National Science and Technology programmes, addresses of relevant
manufacturers and suppliers and information on R&D institutions in the
country. The library also offers remote access to ILMU web - OPAC where
users can search not only library holdings but also electronic online
databases through a single sign-on search. |
