Programme Structure

Foundation in Science is a 12-month programme consists of 3 terms. Term I, II and III each consists of 13 weeks of lectures and tutorials. Students are required to enroll in subject-packages appropriate to the programme they intend to pursue at the degree level such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering and IT. The following table indicates the combination of subjects needed to be taken by the students according to their choices of degree:

Foundation in Biological Science:

Chemistry	Minimum 5 credits in SPM / O-Level or its equivalent	Upon on completion, students will be able to pursue the following Degree Programmes:- Medicine, Bachelor in Dental Surgery, Pharmacy and Biotechnology ( For MBBS and Dentistry program candidate must have at least grade B4 in the following subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry & Physics in their SPM )

Foundation in Physical Science:

Chemistry	Minimum 5 credits in SPM / O-Level or its equivalent	Upon on completion, students will be able to pursue the following Degree Programmes:- BEng.(Hons) in Electrical Engineering; BEng.(Hons) in Electronic & Communications Engineering and BSc.(Hons) in Materials Technology with Management

Foundation in Business:

Foundation in Business is a 12-month programme consists of 3 term. Upon completion of the programme, students can pursue their degree in B.I.T (Hons) Management, B.I.T (Hons) Information Systems, MIS, Business & Marketing and Finance & Management. Students of AIMST University are given the options to choose the elective subjects according to their choice of degree programmes. AIMST University is also providing FULL SCHOLARSHIP to cover their tuition fees.
