PRIZES, AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIP for students
1. Dean’s List

Students with CGPA of 3.65 and above will be placed on the Dean’s List.

Students may qualify for any of the awards below:
a. Book Prize of RM 200, if the student is on the Dean’s List for one normal semester
b. Book Prize of RM 300, on the second consecutive normal semester on the Dean’s List
c. Book Prize of RM 300 + Cash Award of RM 250, on the third consecutive normal semester on the Dean’s List
d. Book Prize of RM 300 + Cash Award of RM 500, on the fourth consecutive normal semester on the Dean’s List
e. Book Prize of RM 300 + Cash Award of RM 750, on the fifth consecutive normal semester on the Dean’s List
f. Book Prize of RM 300 + Cash Award of RM 1000, on the sixth and subsequent consecutive normal semesters (whichever applicable) on the Dean’s List

Top graduating student in the class adjudged by outstanding performance with CGPA ≥ 3.75 in each semester of the programme will receive the University Gold Medal Award.

2. CE Technology Sdn Bhd Awards

This award is sponsored by CE Technology Sdn. Bhd. specifically for students in the MTM Programme and will be awarded based on:
a. Academic Achievement: Best student of the programme with CGPA more than 3.10 in a long semester.
b. Award for leadership, initiative, teamwork & creativity: Student who has contributed significantly to the MTM programme by participation in the Technopreneurship Club or co-curricular activities in AIMST and has a CGPA of more than 2.70 in a long semester. Any staff or students may nominate the candidates for the awards.
3. FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOUNDATION IN SCIENCE leading to Degree in Materials Technology with Management.

For students after SPM who intend to pursue the Degree in Materials Technology with Management.

This scholarship fully covers the tuition fees for the 1-year Foundation in Science Programme in AIMST starting 24 April 2006. Pay just RM 500 (for registration and medical insurance). For the tuition fees of this programme, please click here.
