FACILITIES    

Anatomy dissection hall:

·         Anatomy Dissection hall is established with good collection of formalin fixed specimens, models and charts which provides congenial academic environment.

·         It’s a well lit area equipped with other teaching materials like imported plastic, fibre glass models and charts along with a state of the art PA system.

·         The hall houses dissection tables, artificial and natural skeletons for the benefit of the students.

·         Adjacent to the hall there is a separate cold storage room for storing cadavers and prosected specimens; embalming room and group study room.

·         X-rays are available along with a viewing box inside dissection.  There is also a computer which contain revision material for various Anatomy practicals and dissection sessions

         Students can study the dissected parts in our dissection hall at anytime to enhance their knowledge.
 

     

      Museum:

·         The museum features a vast collection of anatomy and pathology specimens.

·         The specimens are dissected from the human body that have been carefully prepared and mounted for display by our experienced staff members.

·         The museum also houses various models and charts.   

·         Our museum is great place to be as its material is constantly being used for teaching medical dental, physiotherapy and pharmacy students.

·         Between formal classes, the students visit the museum to learn and revise their anatomy and to gain a full appreciation of the human body.

·         The teaching function of the specimen is enhanced by identification of the structures on a corresponding labeled photograph.

 

     

     MDL:

  • During the 1st and 2nd year of the course practical classes are held in modern, multipurpose laboratories.

  • The goal is to provide efficient and effective services to our students.

  • Here the students are provided with working tables and chairs.

  • Some special instrument room is within the lab and it forms an integral part.

  • MDL's serves the needs of all the basic disciplines in Medicine.

  • The faculty and staff are committed to the needs of the students and provide time, high quality services.

  • The laboratory works in a multidisciplinary mode with lecturers from all basic disciplines of medicine, medical students and   support staff.
