The School of Medicine is committed to excellence in educating tomorrow's healthcare professionals and biomedical researchers through the recruitment and retention of outstanding teaching and research faculty and the establishment of state-of-the-art facilities. It offers an innovative and clinically integrated curriculum that meets the needs of our local, national and global communities. The programme is spread over five years and leads to the MBBS degree. The School has, through an MoU with the Ministry of Health, Government of Malaysia, access to five teaching hospitals and twelve rural health clinics in the State in running its medical programme.
