STUDENT VISA FORMALITIES

Send a completed application form attached with the following documents via email:


  1. Passport sized photographs (white background) 3.5cm X 5cm.
  2. Certified true copies of passport pages - all pages including the blank pages
  3. Certified true copies of academic results /certificates / transcripts & relevant documents
  4. Non Objection Certificate (NOC) or Eligibility Certificate for students from Sub-Saharan countries.
  5. Remittance slip of Application Processing Fee – MYR 500 transferred into the AIMST University account.

  1. Selection committee will evaluate the applications and Offer/Rejection letter will be sent to the student along with pre-medical checkup form.
  2. Student returns a duly completed medical checkup form along with the remittance slip of visa payments.
  3. AIMST University will send the visa approval letter to the student.
  4. Student checks with the Malaysian embassy in their country of residence in regards to the Single Entry Visa requirements before travelling to Malaysia.
  5. Student makes full fee settlement before arriving to Malaysia

STUDENT RECRUITMENT PROCESS FLOW

STAGE 1 - APPLICATION PROCESS


Application Form must be supported with the following:


1) Certified true copies of academic results /certificates / transcripts & relevant documents

*Non Objection Certificate (NOC) or Eligibility Certificate for students from Sub-Saharan countries

2) 8 Passport-sized photographs in white background (3.5cm x 5cm)

3) Certified true copies of passport pages - all pages including the blank pages

4) Remittance slip of Application Processing Fee - MYR 500 transferred into the AIMST University account


STAGE 2 - OFFER LETTER ISSUANCE AND VISA APPLICATION


1) Offer/Rejection letter will be sent to student along with the premedical checkup form.

2) Student returns a duly completed medical checkup form along with the remittance slip of visa payments.

3) Student visa/permit application by the International Office


STAGE 3 - ADMISSION


1) AIMST International Office will send visa approval letter (VAL) to the student

Student checks with the Malaysian embassy in their country of residence in regards to the Single Entry Visa requirements before travelling to Malaysia.

*Arrival date must be informed to the international office at least one week ahead.

2) Student makes full fee settlement before arriving to Malaysia

3) Full medical checkup will be done within 7 working days upon arrival to Malaysia
