Congratulations to our 2nd year B.Eng(Hons) Electrical & Electronics Engineering students for making for the the Finals of the MSC Malaysia-Ericsson CR innovation awards

 

We are proud to inform that the 2nd year B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree students (AIMST Team) have been short listed for the Final for MSC Malaysia - Ericsson CR Innovation Awards.

The MSC Malaysia - Ericsson CR Innovation Awards is a communication application development competition created as part of Ericsson Malaysia’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) Program. This Award is organized by Ericsson Malaysia together with Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), and supported by Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM). Malaysian telecom operators have also been invited to become Industry Partners and judges in this competition. The aim of this competition is to recognize and encourage the development of innovative mobile and fixed communication applications that will benefit communities.

AIMST Team idea are to develop an add-on system which enables the blind group to communicate via Short Messaging Systems (SMS) using Blue Tooth enabled Hand phone. The title of their project is “Braille Messaging System (BMS)”.
